2. About NewManDIY
NewManDIY is a product-content and video-production studio based in British Columbia, Canada. The site presents our capabilities, selected portfolio work, and a way for brands and clients to contact us.
3. Informational website
The website is primarily a portfolio and informational presentation. It is not an ecommerce storefront, subscription service, or consumer marketplace. Descriptions, examples, and portfolio materials are provided to help explain the kind of work we do.
4. Project inquiries are not contracts
Submitting a Start a Project inquiry does not create a contract, booking, agency relationship, exclusivity obligation, or promise that NewManDIY will accept the project. We may review an inquiry and decide whether to respond or proceed.
A project begins only after both parties separately agree to scope, pricing, deliverables, timing, usage rights, payment terms, and any other commercial terms in an appropriate written agreement or other confirmed arrangement.
5. Intellectual property
The NewManDIY name, website design, original copy, layout, and NewManDIY-created portfolio materials are owned by NewManDIY or used with permission. You may view the site for personal or business evaluation, but you may not copy, republish, sell, modify, or distribute site materials without permission.
Any rights in a completed client project are determined by the separate agreement for that project. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of work, content, or materials that are not expressly transferred in writing.
6. Brands, trademarks, and third-party materials
Brand names, logos, product names, trademarks, music, footage, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the site or in a portfolio example does not by itself mean NewManDIY owns or controls them, or that a third party endorses NewManDIY.
You are responsible for having the right to share information or materials you provide in an inquiry.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, impersonate another person, send abusive or unlawful content, or use the inquiry form to distribute spam. We may restrict access or decline an inquiry where reasonably necessary to protect the site, our team, or others.
